Sneakers To Work
December 17, 2014 | Location: Roswell, Georgia
This one is for all of you that work from home. I know, it sounds ridiculous to even pretend to claim I dress out of PJ's when working from my tiny spare bedroom studio. However, if you're like me, a change of scenery is always nice— which means upgrading the "work-from-home wardrobe." Once a week, at least, I find a cozy coffee shop to work from like Roswell Provisions in Roswell, Georgia. However, when working from such locations, a few things are key:
A. Looking effortless by balancing the fine line between "coffee shop grunge" and "she's trying too hard."
B. Comfortable pants, like the Easy Pleat Pant by Freepeople—because working at a desk in skinny jeans is just horrid.
C. The bag that holds everything so you can actually accomplish work tasks without kicking yourself for forgetting a computer charger and/or other necessary items. (Can you tell I've suffered this challenge?)
D. Though they may not be necessary in this particular setting because you are sitting at a computer all day, I like to claim that they are 100% needed— Classic Sneakers. Pairing sneakers with, well, anything has become a fashion habit that I whole-heartedly thank J.Crew catalogs for dubbing fashionable. Plus, they make the look a little more casual; perhaps bringing it to just the right balance.
