RAGTRADE Atlanta Fashion Week 2015
Date: October 22, 2015 | A week in review...
As I mentioned in yesterday's blog post and a few previous Instagrams, I had the pleasure of attending a few events during RAGTRADE Atlanta's 2015 Fashion Week last week. The first event I was able to go to was their runway show. They partnered up with the Art Institute of Atlanta to put on an amazing show at the Georgia Freight Depot, one of the oldest buildings in Atlanta that has been renovated as an industrial-chic event space. The designers did such a great job and it was so inspiring to see all their hard work come to life. Knowing that they were fellow Atlantans made the night even more meaningful as supporting the local community is something I thoroughly enjoy having the opportunity to do.
The next night, I headed to one of my favorite spots in Buckhead: Phipps Plaza. The Sip & Stroll event was right up my alley; who doesn't love cocktails and shopping? Combining the two into one is a no brainer I hope to be able to do much more often. For this event, RAGTRADE collaborated with Twenty Grand Vodka and various stores at Phipps. I spent most of my time at Saks Fifth Avenue, browsing the beauty department and finding lots of lovely shots along the way.
I wish Anna Claire would've been in town to attend the events with me, but luckily I had a few close friends step in as replacements to make the nights even better. AC is flying in late this evening (I'm flying back from Vegas tomorrow) and we've got some facetime planned! To say last week was a success would be an understatement, and I'm already counting down the days 'til RAGTRADE 2016!
