Shades of Grey & Over-the-Knee Boots
Date: October 29, 2015 | Location: Atlanta, Georgia
I've been on the lookout for the perfect pair of over-the-knee boots for quite some time now. The search has finally been put to an end by these grey Marc Fisher ones. Not only are they my ideal color, but they also somehow fit my little chicken legs! I decided to style them with a Banana Republic turtleneck sweater from last season, along with my go-to, A-line denim skirt from Topshop. And I can't go without mentioning this vintage cowhide clutch that my mother-in-law gave me; the material couldn't be more fitting for the fall and winter months.
My husband and I have been entirely too busy lately as we have been getting settled into our new home. Decorating has been so much fun, but also very hard work. I'm usually very decisive and never give many decisions I make a second thought. That has not been the case when it comes to decorating. Not. At. All. I've been so hesitant when it comes to making furniture and home decor purchases. I suppose it has been a good thing because I'm very happy with the few things we have actually bought. We've been doing most of our shopping at One King's Lane, Chairish, Restoration Hardware and Anthropologie thus far. We also went to Paris on Ponce, a collection of 30+ antique curators in the heart of Midtown, and absolutely loved it! We've still got a ton to do, but I'm excited to preview our space on the blog as it starts to come together. Any design/decorating advice will be welcomed with open arms, so please leave me some good stuff in the comments section!
