How to Wear a Silk Scarf This Fall
Date: November 19, 2015 | Location: Atlanta, Georgia
If you're anything like me, you've been curious about how to wear a silk scarf for some time now. I've always loved the way they look, but didn't know if I could pull one off the way the French do; Parisians have undoubtedly perfected the art of donning the silk scarf. When I found this orange one at H&M, I knew it was time to pull the trigger.
Of course, now that I owned one, I had to figure out how to tie it. An hour of Pinterest research and ten failed attempts later, I felt ready. I mustered up the courage to wear it on one of those perfect fall days. You know the ones I'm talking about – where the air is crisp and a good sweater is a necessity to keep you feeling cozy. I threw on my long vest from last season (very similar here) and some over-the-knee boots and I was out the door to enjoy the day.
Check out a few of the pins I found to show me how to tie it! I added my own variation since my scarf was rectangular and most silk scarves tend to be square.
