An Artful Look: Spring Transitions

In making light of recent frigid weather, I give you Spring Transitions.

Nature knows best It's about time for a change. Each year, by March 1st, I'm itching out of chunky, wooly sweaters and stuffy boots. My toes are slowly suffocating wheezing for air; and my skin is begging for sunlight. We have exactly three more days until the bodily rebellion, so I've prepared a plan… ;)

Sure, the black plaid shirt above looks great with black jeans and booties, but let's carry it with us to Spring, shall we? Pair it with a lighter wash jean and open toed heal your toes will thank you.

Instead of a wool fedora, loosen the fibers for an airy hat: The Straw Fedora.

Trade in your boots for hair calf heals. (If you're brave enough and have attempted to remove Christmas/New Year nail polish) Unlike me.

It's also the perfect time to bring in new house plants. Plant them now and come April, you'll be ahead of the house plant game. And of course, brighter punches of color throughout the house like this West Elm pillow act as reminders that there will soon be warmth behind the sunlight.
