A Spring Welcoming Kimono
Date: March 10, 2015 | Location: Westside Provisions District // Atlanta, Georgia
Even though spring doesn't officially begin until March 20th, this week marked its start for me. The warm weather has breathed life back into my body. It felt so good to ride with the top down in my convertible for the first time this year. I love feeling the sun's warm rays on my face once again. I've been anticipating daylight saving time for about a month now and it has definitely lived up to my expectations. I feel like I've gained a few hours in the day due to the fact that it is no longer getting dark on my way home from work.
With spring weather comes spring fashion! I've been dying to wear my new kimono from Revolve Clothing for weeks now and it is finally warm enough. I've never bought a kimono before, but this one earns my stamp of approval. It is free-flowing without swallowing me whole. This crop top is reversible; you can wear it frontwards or backwards. I wore it as a v neck for this shoot and switched it up by wearing it as a scoop neck with a maxi skirt later that evening. I liked it so much that I bought it in two colors, so I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of it in future posts. I'm loving the lace-up shoe trend that is all over stores this season. Unfortunately, my Nine West wedges are sold out, but I've linked some others that I love! We'll be pinning more shoe styles to our new 'Currently Coveting' Pinterest board, so be sure to follow along for our latest must-haves.
