The Red Jacket
Date: May14, 2015 | Location: California Coast
Ahh... this gloomy season is such a breath of fresh air. There's something calming about a grey overcast day-- makes me want to sip my coffee a little longer. I also find these days most inspiring for photos as the lighting allows for everything to be captured in truer and more saturated way.(Hence the vibrancy of this amazing red jacket from H&M).
Because the months of May and June are notoriously gloomy around these parts of California, I'll be honest; I'm a little perplexed as to how to buy for the first months of "summer season." No need for tank dresses or swimsuits just yet. Those won't be necessary until late July. To improvise, I've been investing in light layers. This red jacket has been a dream of a piece. The color is amazing and the fabric works with the coastal wind so very nicely. The fit sort of makes me feel little again, and wearing my dad's jacket. (So needless to say-- it's extemely comfortable).
The bag you see featured is none other than an R.Riveter original. You can find more from them here.
