Black, White and Bucket

Black, White and Bucket

Date: June 13, 2015 | Location: Carmel-By-The-Sea

Just as Brianna mentioned in our last post, I too, have been cleansing the closet. (Who is looking for something new? Feel free to browse my Postmark account here!) Because my lifestyle has changed since moving to California, (much more outdoor-exploring-I-just-want-to-be-comfortable-but-somewhat-stylish sort of activities) I've barely touched the dressy skirts and tops that used to venture around Atlanta.

Of course, one thing remains. Anthropologie. When entering into this season's minimal-style mindset, I first thought Anthro would lounge on the backburner as most of their pieces offer a little more color and pattern than the average minimal design. However, I took a gander around the store just last week and found that they have indeed placed a personal touch on the minimal trend. The Gillie Duster Vest is one example. Though this was photographed in a less than minimal setting, (can't help it, I love the dense gardens of Carmel) it embodies clean lines and minimal color. The duster works perfectly with trends like the bucket bag and the mid-length dress. By the way, this adorable mini-bucket is at H&M for only $17. (Woohoo!)

Shop this entire outfit below.

PS Thank you Sarah and Christine for taking snapping these photos!

Happy Weekend, Anna Claire
