I can't stop wearing these '70s classics lately. The saying "everything old is new again" never rings truer than with fashion. I love a good off-the-shoulder top, and this one from Reformation has the perfect fit. Madewell has done it yet again with their flea market flares. I snagged a pair in their darkest wash (kenner). Of course, they were extremely long on my petite frame, but nothing that a trip to my office's alterations' lady couldn't easily fix. I foresee wearing both of these pieces again and again in the coming months.
I'm so excited for this new year and the changes it will bring. My husband and I have been trucking along with home improvements: buying furniture, decor and working on DIY projects with my dad. Its been quite the adventure so far, and I am trying to force my over-eager self to sit back and enjoy the ride; something I always have trouble with. I'm also looking forward to new changes with Art of Style. I aim to bring you much more than fashion in the coming year. My goal with the blog has always been that it will be ever-evolving -- changing as my life does. With the purchase of our new home, I will be publishing more design and decor posts. I'm also anticipating that my homemaking skills (cooking & cleaning) will improve, but that is yet to be determined. I'm hopeful that you all will stay along for my journey into 2016 and that you too enjoy the changes to come.
