At Home Style

I'm not going to lie, I usually rock the leggings + big sweater + warm socks while hanging out around the house. However, we hosted our first big family dinner at the house this past Sunday, and I decided I needed to step it up from my usual attire. Even though I wanted to look a little nicer, I didn't want to feel over-dressed and certainly still wanted to be comfortable. I turned to Madewell for soft, layering basics like this striped turtleneck and denim shirt. Their flea market flares make everything look better, so I threw those on and topped it off with my favorite navy felt hat. The dinner was a great success and I enjoyed feeling a little more put together while hosting.
