An Italian Fall
Date: October 24, 2016 | Location: Positano, Italy
We were in Positano on the first day of fall this year. Although the Amalfi coast isn't what most people picture when they think of autumn, it was certainly not a let down. The days were warm, but not overwhelmingly so. We sat on the beach for a few hours without even breaking a sweat. The nights were a lot cooler than they are in the South for the very beginning of fall, yet a light jacket was all you needed to stay comfortable. The air was crisp and refreshing. Instead of the vibrant colors of the leaves starting to change, we had the many colored buildings perched along the Positano hillside to gaze out at.
I wore this midi skirt/lace-up blouse outfit on the evening that we went to La Tagliata for dinner. It was light and airy, but provided enough warmth for rest of the night. We made sure we had time to catch the sunset before heading up the mountain to the restaurant. I'll be sharing my travel guides for Cortona and Positano this week and next, so be sure to check back to hear about all of our favorite spots!
