I'm so excited to finally share Linley's nursery with you all! It may be a little last minute, but that is what happens when you're also finishing up two bathroom renovations. My main goal for the nursery was to keep things calm and serene, but I still wanted to incorporate some soft, feminine colors. I'm not a huge fan of pink, but really like blush. I mixed it in with some other favorites - tan, blue and olive - to create a young and playful color palette.
We purchased a new crib and dresser/changing table from DwellStudio. I love the clean, mid-century design of the pieces and how they fit in our ranch style home built in 1961. Our rocker is a family antique that we had reupholstered. I purchased the striped, kilim rug off of Etsy. The rest of the decor is a mix of old and new. Some is from big box stores, others from thrift stores and estate sales, and others given to us by family members years ago. I purchased the blush blanket and multi-colored garland from stores based in Australia that carry a children's line that I discovered through Instagram called Numero 74. Overall, I love how her nursery turned out and all of the personal touches it incorporates. I finished the framed calligraphy piece this past week with my favorite bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11.
